5. It can either be a 'for fun' themed set that probably will get slaughtered, or a set you've actually found really effective to get deep down in the dungeon with. Dungeons of Dredmor has one serious drawback compared to many other roguelikes: it is not free.
Anyway, I finally played a game that lasted for a while. My build was built around counter-attacking and my skills were: Daggers (Very sharp wall of blades stance!) maces are a bit different, the chance on hit skill is an aoe knockback and it's active skill is sort of a forward cleave with a knockback but lesser damage than normal hits staff is mostly for mages as it gives mage stats and it doesn't have the nice chance . Most rogue skills are either support (Burglary, Tinkering, Artful Dodger, Perception) or bad (Assassination, Paranormal Investigator, Bankster, Daggers). If you want a "I Wanna Beat The Dredmor" build, you can do something like this; (Any Melee Skill, I really like Unarmed) Necronomiconomics.
